Lee Runyon is a Charleston native , Eagle Scout and recently retired school educator.  He attended Bishop England High School, The College of Charleston and Charleston Southern University. He began serving the community as a teacher and high school coach in 1992 and taught at R.B. Stall High School, Cross High School and Garrett Academy. In 2002, he transitioned from the classroom to school administration and served as an assistant principal, associate principal and principal at Wando High School, Colleton County High School, Thunderbolt Career Center, St. John’s High School, West Ashley High School and as the founding principal of The Cooper River Center for Advanced Studies.

After nearly thirty years of public service as an educator he wanted to challenge himself by entering an alternative career path while continuing to serve the people of South Carolina.
